JAP vs GERMAN Sedan Battle, Soon

Hey guys

I was talking last night with my buddies, and all of us that drive "Sedans" agreed to give it a Go Sometime in the coming weeks.

We got 5 Cars for the battle. hehe

95 VW Passat VR6 (172 Ponies)
98 Toyota Camry V6 CE (194 Ponies)
2001 Nissan Maxima SE AE <------- MEEEEEEEEEEE (227 w/Ghey Tranny)
2001 Mercedes Benz E 320 (3.2 225 Ponies)
2002 Mercedes Benz C 320 (3.2 215 Ponies)

All AutoMagic!

Guys ... What place do you think I'm gonna end up???

This is gonna be a Drag Race on a 3 lane Highway, 0-60, from STOP. (Yes, we'll have a Scout with Radio 50 cars back)

Any Hints, Tips on what I should do or anyone wanna lend me their Supercharger, Y-Pipe??

You already know what you should do...Go as fast as you can. Use all those little tricks that eek out every last ounce of power from your engine. I say you will end up ranking in the top 3. What's a Ghey tranny by the way?

Re: Re: JAP vs GERMAN Sedan Battle, Soon

I think I should be able to Beat the "E" Class, cuz its So Damn Heavy ... but the "C" class should kick my a$$ like nuts!

What I meant is that I've got a AutoMajic tranny, with all the G A Y problems that we all know of!

you've already WON

regardless of how you do on the black top, the fact that you own a Japanese rather than a German vehicle makes you the winner. German design and engineering has always been great, but actual manufacture/quality and assembly stinks big time. That goes for MB;VW;Audi..(maybe not Porsche.) Just need to ask my mechanic buddies who work at the MB rebuild depot in toronto. They are re-building not only old engines with a few hundred thousand miles on them. They rebuild mostly new engines still under warranty. go figure
My family's brand new V-dubs and Audi's are constantly in for warranty work, and they are starting to panic now that their short warranties have almost expired. I havent seen a garage YET with my 2 year old Max
