Washer Fluid Issue

All of a sudden today my washer fluid stopped coming out on the left side of the hood and all i can think of is that the lines getting pinched when i shut the hood but the washer tube clears the strut bar then if i fiddle with it, it only works for a short period of time. Anybody else encounter this problem?

I had the same thing with my racingline strut bar. I took the strut bar off and the washer fluid started flowing normally again. I also used a pin to clean out the holes in the little nozzles at the same time just in case those were gobbed up, but I really think it was the strut bar.

So what is the best solution for it? Other then taking the bar off =/
I tried moving the tubing over to the left and taped it but the tape i guess gets hot then loses its stick and tightness. The wierd thing it tho, when the tube dissapears under that cardboard shield, it goes right up to the sprayer so how could it physically be the problem

When we had an issue with the left nozzle not squirting, I fiddled with the tube connection over on the right nozzle. Seemed to help.

you can try to re-route the rubber hose to prevent it from being squashed, or you can loosen the bolts on the strut bar, get someone to push down on the strut bar and re-tighten it.

I see what your saying but there isnt much more room for the bar to sink down. My first thought was to adjust the bar and move it to the other side..Performance wouldnt be decreased or altered, correct?

I re-routed the hose inside of the hood. That way I didn't have to guess if it was still going to be pinched or not.

I had the same issue and thought it was from the FSTB but the nozzle was just plugged up. I swear the lines get gummed up from using the deicing washer fluid. You should check and see if it still doesn't work when the hoods up if it doesnt you know the lines pinched, but I bet its just clogged.

I had same issue and it was the FSTB. It needed adjusting to flatten it out.

I had the same issue, I ended up running the hose INSIDE the channels on the hood, and it works fine.

That seems like the best way to go. Ive pretty much tried everything as far as common sense goes..wiggling it does nothing, i cut out part of the cardboard that helped a lil but then same result. DIDNT WORK. I think the exact spot where its getting pinched is dead center from the left sprayer to the right. The tubing that runs across is where its happening.

For those of you who re-routed the lines, do you still have the cardboard shield or did you work around it?
