02 Max hesitation

My 02 Max is running and driving great (new Michelin Pilot Sports today!). The only thing wrong with the car is a small hesitation on throttle tip in. It hiccups for about 1/2 sec then takes off. Otherwise it runs strong, gas mileage is running about 20 in town, 26 on the freeway. 6spd manual trans.

Any ideas?

I'd say its normal becasue of the eletronic throttle.

Not unless it just started making the noise. OP: Did the noise just start recently?

I changed my sparkplugs to NGK Iridium - 2 Step Colder (will run Nitrous), and the hesitation is gone, as well as the idle dip where the car almost cuts off. Great maintenance item. 2 of my plugs were corroded and 1 was oil soaked. All of them had an incorrect gap anywhere from .028 to .076. My new plugs fixed all my rpm/hesitation issues.
