Can a Stock 2K Max beat a Stock 2K Mustang GT in a race??? Please reply...

Not unless the max is modified quite a bit!! I can take a 2K stang GT but they hang pretty close with me up untill around 90 mph and then I start pulling on them pretty bad. I have an auto but from my past experience with racing a 5-speed 2k max you might be able to hang and possibly pull on the GT slightly IF:
1.) You have a CAI
2.) You have a y-pipe and exhaust
3.) You are a good driver and know how to launch.
If the GT is a 5-speed with any kind of mods it will be "SEE YA!!" Good luck and remember you'll never know till you try.

 

what about stock 2k2?i bet they can beat them

 

A maxima is not going to beat a mustang GT off the line. They have
300 ft-lbs of torque versus 222 in a maxima. You may be able to hang with one from a rolling start if have a stick, y pipe, intake , and can shift quicker then the other guy. I raced a 98 gt off the line and got raped a year ago.
