cold air intake problems

so i got the injen cold air intake and i put it in with no problem....maf sensor is going the correct way everything is tight...the hose is connected perfectly and tight...... i then had a missfire code pop up ...then i deleted it...cleaned the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body and intake mani...seemed the misfire went away...now the engine idles at 900rpm( ima look up the idle relearn and try that) butt...now wen i press on the gas i get this loud sqeal from the intake ( sounds lik a belt sqealing on a crappy car) its pretty anoying...any ideas???

are you sure its from the intake? did you try popping the hood and revving your car to see exactly where it is coming from? Maybe there is a tiny hole or fracture in the plastic fittings that connect the piping....

I have an Injen CAI and nothing like what youve described has ever happened with mine.

It sounds like there is air leakage or something stuck in the piping itself.

Otherwise I'd say its not your CAI... must be something else.

How did you clean the throttle body? IIRC the 02-03 throttle bodies have drive by wire so depending on how you cleaned it that could have messed up your idling.
