Would a 2000 ECU work in an '01?

I have this burnt ecu:

and have found another member willing to sell me this ECU

however my maxima is a 2001 and that one is from a 2000, the number is slightly different too based off the blury 2nd photo, will this work? what else will i have to do when replacing the ecu?

someone said i might have to reprogram my keys, will i have to?

I'd also like to know the answer to t0mmyr's question. I have a similar problem...I have a 2001 Maxima in need of an ECM/ECU and I have been unsuccessful in finding the exact # to match my ECM/ECU.

Is it safe to say that if you find the same type of tranny and w/ or w/o traction control (depending on your vehicle) from the same year Maxima, it should work without any problems?

P.S. Wow are those pics huge! haha j/k

And is it a must that the ECU be with traction control or without traction control (depending on what you have)? In otherwords, can you buy a used ECU with traction control and your vehicle doesn't have traction control, or vice versa?

sorry my bad, i think i uploaded that direct from my phone (cellphone pic)

****, so if i get a new computer i'm gonna have to reprogram my 2 original keys, plus the dummy transponder key buried deep in my dash for remote start...damn thats gonna be a pain in the ***, does anyone know how to reprogram the keys? or is this a dealer/locksmith tool only kind of thing? when i programmed my blank transponder key i had a locksmith i used to do business with do it for me and he only charged me $40 which was a steal i think, but he had some gizmo and had to use my old key to do it, so if it is possible for me to do it myself without and specialized tools i'd really like a step by step if anyone knows one thx
