Opinions on & question about these rims.....

http://www.neeper.com/sideburn_detai...type=passenger

these rims are SWEET! I want the 18"'s. What do you all think? and from the site, which rims are gonna be right for my car. they have different measurements for the 18's.

My question is about the chrome finish. I live in KY and we get snow every year and they salt the streets. Is that a major problem?

Thanx!

Well at least there is another KY max owner around here. Haven't seen or heard of another one lately.

As for the wheels. It's not great for them, but as long as you take care of the wheels before and after it should not be a problem. If you get the wheels, just wax them the first time after you install them, and then wipe them off if you drive on the salty streets. Its preventative maintenance, but hey it works. I have had chrome wheels on every other vehicle, besides the max, and I have had no problems. I got some turtle wax chrome polish and that does just fine. Oh, and I will have chrome wheels on my car within the next 2 weeks. Don't see a problem.

Why dont you keep your stock wheels as a spare so when it snows, u can store the nice ones until it clears up again.

Btw, the 18x8.5 w/5x114.3 and either 34 or 45 offset would probably be the best sizes.

Those are crazy looking. A lil too much for me (not only are they chrome but the design!), but they definetly look cool..

That's what I do. I strongly recommend it. Put Blizzaks on the stock wheels

but anyway I think the rims look sweet

I agree.... not really my style either. I'm not big on the neepers I've seen and I'm really not big on chrome.

A little too flashy for the max. Besides that Neepers have a tendency to get dated. Would you ride around on some syncros? My recomendation would to get something that is not so fadish!

I dont think it would become that dated. Neeper has lots of styles and has been around for a while. Hell, by the time these becomse dated (as they just hit the market) ill be driving around in something else and it wont be my problem.
