Need AE Rear Bumper

Hey there org members, often lurker, not often poster. I was hit two weeks ago in my 2001 AE on the interstate. It is a borderline total and the last remaining item that my bodyshop is struggling to find is the 20th AE rear bumper. He has not been able to locate a used one and Nissan no longer makes them. Anyone with a lead on one it would be most appreciated! Please let me know too if a standard 00-01 can be used with some sort of kit that is still available for the ground effect.

Sorry, but need the info really fast. The insurance man is haggling to settle this thing up.

TIA!!!

I can find a ton of bumpers, but none with the kit. The ground effects kit is still for sale many places for just over $400 for the whole thing (which I don't need). That might be the compromise as it is less costly than a total and going to buy a new car. We'll see. BTW - The accident was 84 east between Southington and Plainville if you know the area. Whacked me good at about 70mph and put me 3/4 of the way across a wide median.

Get any rear bumper from 2000-2003 and Ionic Dynamics makes a very good replica of the AE rear valence.

I love Canadians! Thank you! I sent this to my body shop guy to see if we can make the numbers work with this and a used bumper. It really looks nice. I even told him if it's a deal breaker I'll pay for the valance myself. The only thing mechanically wrong with the car is the muffler, so I am trying my best to make the person who hit me's company pay for my repair bill versus totaling me out.

I'll post an update when I know more.
Thanks again!

They are shipping one out to me to arrive next week. The auto shop already started ordering parts locally including the 00-03 bumper. He convinced the insurance adjuster to let them fix the vehicle and got the price down to within a hair of where they would have totaled it. While I was somewhat excited to go buy a new Max, the timing is very bad for a car payment right now so I am glad to be getting my "baby" back.

Thanks Skidz88!!

Somewhat off topic question about the rear valence from Ionic Dynamics....

1) does this fit the non-AE rear bumper?
2) how much does it drop down from the stock bumper? (not much space as it is between my muffler and rear bumper)

1) It fits any 00-03 rear bumper
2) I'm sure you'll be fine, even with aftermarket exhausts people haven't had any issues getting this to fit.

I don't have it in hand yet, so all I can share is what they promise on their site http://ionicdynamics.com/AEvalance.html
They state it'll fit the whole series. I know there are different part #'s for the 00-01 v. 02-03, but I don't know what was different about those bumpers. I am guessing that since there is the full effects kit still available for that year, that this was mainly built by them for people that were rear-ended or backed into something making it a needed item.
