Installing Mesh Air Dam Grill

Ok I read the post by Russ about how to install it, but how to you get those ****ing stupid tabs out, I don't have a "special tab remover" as he calls it or whatever that thing is and i can't get those things out for the life of me. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't do it that way, there's a simpler way.

Open your hood and look ahead of the radiator, there's enough space to lower the gutter guard down into the airdam area. If you can, get someone to guide it down for you as you lower it.

Then just attach with the tie straps and finished.

Flathead screw driver, and needle nose, and be super careful I used the needle nose to pry them out after the flathead got enough space for them to fit. Just be careful doing it this way, you can break those tabs easy.

It should work fine like Ludacris said assuming you have the real Gutter Guard?

I got it in, I did it through the top. One more question, how do you secure the mesh on the bottom, where the two little rectangular shaped holes are?

I believe you use those plastic straps and tie them down with where the dam is. There's 4 that you can tie them to.

yes, use FOUR additional plastic strips and tie them near the bottom so it supports the top as well. Just the same thing you did on top, do the same for the bottom. so end up having 8 tied strips together.

I think he mean't the 2 horizontal slots under the airdam...not really a way of attaching there, even if you did it wouldn't show up unless you got real close to it..

Finally, someone who understands me...lol...thanks for all the info guys I really appreciate it. I set it up and it looks nice. Next, my indiglo door steps go in. Can't wait. Anyone know if there is a 'How-to' yet on how to install them? Any info would be great.

installed with hiden zip ties

I did my install and you can't see the zip ties!

I used a cable tie holder (peel and stick on one side and a loop on the other) and stuck them above and below the opening. Then the zip ties are out of sight.
