New IACV equals new ECU??
Hey guys, I'm a 3rd and 4th gen owner but a friend of mine owns an 01 and he replaced his IACV recently and now it fluctuates at idle. He took it to the dealer and they said they always replace the IACV with a new ECU because the IACV going bad takes it out. I say BS and he should try the relearning procedure that I am printing for him.
Have you guys heard of them going out together like the dealer said?
Thanks.

Yes, it is a common problem. Try the relearn and if it does not work, try disconnecting the battery for two hours.

Yeah, I've searched and some of the stickies for how to's don't take me to the answer for the relearning. One thread shows the procedure and then another guy says it won't work on a 3.0?

Ah, so you haven't found the IACV relearn procedure yet? The first post seemed to imply it.
