So...you say you searched?

From 10 seconds of searching:

I couldn't find the answer to this question:

You're supposed to add more sealant when you install new tail lights, right? Do I have to use the special $20 kind from the Nissan dealer or can I just use a $6 tube of silicone sealant from Home Depot?

ehh dont use that silicone sh##. Really you should be fine without any of it unless your buying the lights new. I remeber when I purchased some red/clears for my 99 the sealant was included. I would do it right though with the $20 stuff.

If you use that silicone crap I think your taillights may be stuck permanantly. What happens if you crack one on accident?
