Heres a couple pics of my 3M clear bra installed

I installed the hood piece my self yesterday, I am waiting for bumper and headlight pieces to be made. The install was pretty darn easy.

Please note that the flash from the camera makes the bra more noticable then it is in reality.

I paid $99.95 from www.xpel.com . I don't think it would show up any differently on majestic blue, it is transparent.

My Max was just done yesterday and I realize it's not a Majestic Blue car, but it is Ebony so it'll give you an idea as to what it's like on a dark car.

Looks great on your car emax95.

Albert.

It was pretty easy to do, I suppose it would be easy to screw up but as long as you keep it lubricated you can get it just right. BTW this is the first time I have ever installed anything like this before.

I am looking forward to the rest of the clear bra being made. Until then I have to use a conventional nissan bra .

It looks good Ethan.

My cousin did something similar on his Lightning. The whole front end + bumper was done.

It is a temporary thing, I am waiting for the rest of the 3M bra to be made. BTW I put the top piece of the bra on so it matches up.

emax, doesnt the colors look different after a while from having it on? What about moisture and debris getting under there? would you have to take it off to clean the car?

Nothing can get under the 3M clear bra because it is firmly attached with adhesive just like window tint. Also 3M says that because light can penetrate the clear bra, the paint under the clear bra will not fade differently from the rest of the car. And you can wax right over the clear bra just like you would on paint.

This 3M stuff is the way to go.

Any time it rains it has to be removed before the sun comes out, otherwise the water traped under the bra can get extremely hot and damage your paint. You also have to reomove it every time you clean your car, basicaly any time it get's wet it has to come off. If you follow these rules your paint will be fine and pit/scratch free.

It is annoying, I hope they make the 3M bumper pice soon! BTW it's raining out now and the braws off

emax,

Did you have any problems installing the Nissan bra? Now I like a nice tight bra as much as the next guy...but this is ridiculous. Mine was so tight the passenger side strap ripped the hood piece seem and strap off the bra while installing it.

I had a very difficult time lining up the two 'pockets' on the bra with the two pieces of the hood that go on either side of the grill when the hood is closed. The bottom piece was no picknick either. I wound up sending it back and having the dealer replace it. Any tips you can offer would be appreciated.

Same problem here except I MADE it fit! This bra was{Nissan bra} very poory designed. I had to just stretch the thing into place. After you get it on once it becomes a lot easier because it streches to shape. Also if it's cold out it will make it even harder to do.
