LEDs = No Power

So I tried driving around with the LED bulbs installed in my tail lights and when my lights were on my acceleration was cut down dramatically. I have an intake and headers installed and sounded like they weren't even installed under acceleration. When I turned the lights off under the same acceleration off she went and I could hear the power again. How can LEDs do this?

Also with the lights off when I press my brakes my parking lights, corner lights, and gauge lights illuminate; as if I turned my light switch on to the 1st light setting. Do LEDs have the power to do all this to my car?

There was a recent thread about LED brake light bulbs making the cruise control inop, so I'd start looking there.

Sort of a separate question - does the power seem OK until you get well into midrange rpms?

Jreed-I don't have loaders installed and did have bulb out warning. (Past tense cause I put my old bulbs back in).

Norm-thanks Ill look into that and I would say it was ok up till about 3,000 rpms or so
