Like turning in a driveway? When i lowered my old max, The cap for the steering bump stop broke. So it was metal on metal. Sounded real bad, but it wasn't a big deal. The caps a couple bucks at the dealership.

Yep like Ahmad said its probably the steering bump cap, mine had the same metal to metal grinding noise looked at the cap and it was worn down. I just twisted mine so the worn part wasn't facing the same way. No more noise but still going to get a new one soon before it completely brakes.

If you remove the bump stops will you have the same problem? The turning radius is terrible!

I didnt know what to look for in the beginning, and I didnt want to lay on the ground to try to do the DIY... I just jacked it up to make things easier for everybody.
