what are my options - exhaust

Ok heres the situation. I just picked up a frankencar axle back but the stock setup is welded (wtf right?). So, my buddy said he can do it but itll be a pita. shall i just replace this piece (behind the cat)?

what do you think?

Off another member, ebay, etc... Frankencar went out of business.

Typically, an exhaust shop could do it in a jiffy. Either modify the flange, or chop it off & fabricate one.

hes good..i'll probably h ave him cut and fab-hes gonna look at it next week so we'll know then. i'd love to go with a nice b pipe but dont have the cash right now-spent it on the axle back.
new tires on the rover set me back a grand so im limpin for a couple weeks
