Ordered KYB GR2s what else to get?

Well I just ordered my struts on eBay and they should be here next week. I know my mounts are probably bad too there are some on eBay for pretty cheap are those ok or is it better to get oem? What else do I need to buy while I'm waiting for the struts to get here? Will i need new dust boots? Bump stops? Spring isolators? I'm sorry if I sound like a noob but I've never done struts before and i want to be prepared so I can get the job done without all the running around. I will be renting spring clamps too but what other parts/tools will I need to complete the job?

Go for Moog mounts. Better than OEM and who knows what you might get on EBay.

For a 2003 Max

Fronts are Part Number K90655 and includes the bearing

Rears are Part Number K90299

They also have Strut Bellows which includes the bumper

Front K90463

Rear K90467

Hope this helps.

do those part numbers come with both sides? or do i need 2 of each? damn if i need (2) thats going to be $300

edit: I thought $150 shipped for mounts and belows on all 4 corners was an alright deal but now i realize it only comes with one side so i had to order everything a second time damn! well i guess i have some good quality $300 mounts & belows lol

Typically one side only.

$300? For what?
I picked up 2 front mounts and 4 boots from Dave B for under $150 shipped. (4th gen)

$39.89 + $9.22 each for the rear moog mounts k90299
$17.58 + $8.91 each for the front belows k90463
$19.85 + $8.91 each for the rear belows k90467

Glad I could help.

You might want to check on the sway bar links also. While you have everything else off. That's where I was getting a lot of my noise from

The Moog's are thicker and have grease fitting compared to stock

Part Numbers are

K90432 for the left

and

K90431 for the right

After that the only other thing on the front for suspension is the balljoints

I'm running the MOOGS too and have enjoyed good success with them. Also put on the Energy Suspension bushings on the sway bar up front.

h&r's with kyb gr2's are pretty close to stock and pretty reasonable as far as price.
