Tips for painting my evo5 wheels

I was just wanting some input on painting my wheels. I have 18" evo5 wheels on my max and they are chipped up pretty good. I was thinking of maybe going with a gunmetal look or just try to keep them the same color. What i need to know is what you guys think is the best way to prep and paint my wheels. I dont have the cash to have them powdercoated so thats outta the picture. Anyone else painted there's with good results? Gimme some ideas...with pics.

Thanks

Start by searching. Plenty of people have painted their wheels and posted tons of pictures in the progress.

I know you said you didn't have the money for powder coating, but you consider at least getting them sand/bead blasted. No matter how nice the paint it, if the prep is ****ty they will look ****ty.
