Goodbye Great Maxima Forum

I've been a member for a few years and have gained a lot of knowledge of my Maxima since joining. I rarely had a post, but the advice and help have been great. This past October, my Maxima was totaled and I since moved to a BMW. I just thought I'd thank all for the help that was given over the years.

FYI..I stopped to yield to a state trooper heading to an emergency and the Dodge Ram going about 40-45mph behind me did not see me stop until he was in my trunk! Now I know the Max can take a hit and kept me safe.

For some reason I'm not allowed to add attachments, so sorry, no pics.

Maxima.org doesn't host pictures. You have to upload them on a site like photobucket or something and then you can can insert the image link. Sorry to hear about your Max.

He had a little bit of grill damage and his hood bent up, but he was able to drive home. The dude never even got out to see if I was ok! Dont you think if you crushed somebody, you'd get out asap and check on them or at least apologize?..Maybe its just me..

Cars can always be replaced. But life and body parts cannot be replaced. Thank God you made it ok. Enjoy your new ride.

Hey men, without kidding, your Max had its *** kicked big time. Your guardian angels did protect you to come out clean from that.

I can't believe the guy didn't come out from his car. Either doesn't care or scared you might be soo upset you might flip and hurt him now that he hurt your car.

All the best, men.

Dude glad your OK, Just cause you have the Bimmer doesn't mean you can't post ever-once-in-a-while.....I sold my Max a few weeks ago and have no intension of leaving the ORG (of coarse I bought a Pathfinder w/a VQ35 in it)

You might as well keep your profile opened, after you get out of warrantee w/the bimmer your probably going to want to get rid of it & get into a 6th or 7th gen..IMHO..

Yup, its a 325xi...bimmerforums is nowhere as helpful as in here, but maybe I should give it time.

thanks man, I appreciate it. everytime i look back at those pics, i realize i was lucky to have walked. funny story behind this entire wreck was I was heading back to the hospital to see the birth of my son..i had run home to get the car seat and some clothes..needless to say i had to get a new car seat and the state trooper took me home so i could take the jeep to the hospital.

Will do. I may be able to shed light on the subject for some newbies or at least be proof was what type of hit the max can take!

Alright so I was totally wrong...I have never used either of these features so I kind of forgot they existed. Thanks for pointing out my misinformation and making me look like a ****head.
