it very could be the drain plug but the spring and ball bearing probably from one of the sycros.

the ball bearing going in first is the only way that it fits back in so we will try that. any other ideas?

I now am past 5000 miles since doing the dreaded flush. Transmission doing great. Additionally, I had the transmission ground wire replaced.
