Guys im having a problem with my tanny.
sometimes when i stop it feels like its going to stall and when im driving fast and stop at a red light or something it doesnt down shift and the whole car dumps and makes a LOUD noise.
What could it be?

Oh and i have another problem when i turn the wheel all the way and go in to a driveway or make a U-turn it makes a chirp sound.
My brother says it hits the header? But i have no idea

first all, trannys dont downshift as you slow down. The loud noise isn't normal though, and its hard to say without hearing it. Obviously something is wrong, so id have a transmission shop look at that. same with the chirp sound, its hard to say without hearing it. But it could be some bad struts or something.

yeah ima take it to aamco on monday just wanted to know if anybody has had this problem.

 

Aamco is the WRONG place to take your car. Do a little research on the internet and you will be truly frightened at how much they rip people off. Cottman is just as bad.

Look for a independent import repair shop.

i was just gunna take it to them because they have a FREE check up thing.

 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from Aamco!!!!!!! Went thru a year and a 1/2 of aggrevation because of them.

Find a local shop. You know the old saying, you get what you pay for? Well, it applys here.

 

The Aamco here isn't that cheap though..
