I have an 03 maxima and i just got an AE lip, and i want to put it on. The lip isnt painted nor is the front bumper. plus my back bumper is all scratched up. How much do u think is a good price to pay for installation of the lip, plus painting the front bumper cover, with repainting the back bumper cover.
What is a good price?

 

The guy that does my paint work would charge me about $250.00-$300.00. But I do alot of business with my paint guy. Where you located?

 

I asked my body guy what he'd charge me to paint/install a front lip and fix some spots on the bumper (one over buffed spot... oops! and some bad bug chips) He said he'd charge $150...

He's just a mom and pop type spot though...

He does all the work for Enterprise RAC here in town so he does good work.

 

150-400 depending on who you know or go too.

 

^^agreed. When I bought my Max, I did so knowing about several scratches around DS taillight/quarter panel. Had it fixed for $225, excellent job I might add.

 

Paint guys are so shakey, they'll give you tons of different estimates/prices. Unfortunately like other aspects of life you often get what you pay for with them as well.

Sombody correct me if Im wrong but I didnt think the AE lip would work on an 03.

 

^^Thats a good point, but i heard it will fit if you modify it. Should just get the Maxtunning lip anyway looks better on the 5.5 gen.

I saw a guy who put it on so i bought one and im having it put
on as i write.
max tuning lip doesnt have screws on it and it will be easy for someone to steal it from me. I had the stillen lip and someone did me wrong. they ripped the **** right off.

 

Awh damn... I'm glad people in my area wouldn't even know what a Stillen lip is. That sucks man

in NC, Guy does Best paint ive seen. Painted buddies of mines maxima fender for 200. so a lip is way less paint, so id say around 100
