heavy vibration under accleration, please help!
I just was installing my new koni struts up front. the Driver side went pretty smoothly. The passenger for some reason proved to be more challenging. I had a hard time getting the assembly out aside from other things. When I went to put the strut assembly back in I couldn't get the knuckle to rotate far enough to bolt in the strut. I messed with the thing for 2 hours trying to rotate things, turning the steering wheel, etc. Finally one time I turned the steering wheel and I heard a noise, looked back to the hub and saw that is was now able to be in it's regular rotation.
So I bolted the strut back in and went for a test drive. But now come to notice that when I press on the gas pedal I get some serious vibration going on. So now I'm really stressed. I wondering if maybe I messed up my axle in some way and that is causing the vibration. It only happens when I push on the gas. If I put the car in neutral the vibration goes away.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm so stressed right now. Not sure how I'm going to get to work tomorrow.

That's what it sounds like, an axle issue.
Likely the outer joint popped out, causing the alignment issue.
Bad axles can cause all sorts of weird noises/symptoms. Axle is the first thing I'd go for.
