Driver side Window Issue

The driver side window all of a sudden stopped working. Then took of the panels and switch and then smacked the motor and all of a sudden it started to work. Once it went all the way up, disconnected the connector for now.

What could be the problem, the motor, regulator or the switch itself?

I am suspecting the switch but dont want to spend any money on this unless absolutely confirmed what the problem could be.!!!

If it started working when you smacked the window motor, why do you believe it's the switch?

When you use the switch and it doesn't work, do you hear the motor making any noise? Is it getting power properly? Have you checked all connections?

My driver's side window works fine till you wanna put it back up. When it gets to the top, it comes back down about 3.5". As long as I don't hold the fully up and just put it up manually it won't come back down. I assume it's some kind of relay or something like that. It still works, so I'm not messin with it yet.

You need to reset the limit switch. Search, it's been covered many many times.
