Burnt Steering Wheel

So as of late and due to terribly hot weather here in MD, i noticed that the top of my steering wheel is burnt and starting to flake in my hand... now the easiest fix is i guess a steering wheel cover, but im not too much a fan of any steering covers, anywhere that i can get the OEM steering wheel for cheap, or even an aftermarket one (just not too fast and the furious type wheel) anything OEM or close to it???

get a sun shield for your windshield and go to a apholstery shop and get it re-wrapped.

Retrofit Z/G35 steering wheel?

If that's even possible...

That way it'd feel a bit sportier, but still look stock-ish.

Too late for you now but a tinted windsheild helps. If you can get it done its worth it. mine is 40% on both of my maxima's. and then you can scrap the windshield deflector

I'm gonna look into it. If it's possible, I'm going to do it. Personally, I love the feel of my Z's steering wheel. If I can get a G or Z steering wheel to retrofit in my Max, I'd have the best of both worlds.

Smaller, sportier-feeling OEM wheel, and you won't have to worry about the airbag light.

Oh yeah, and you might be able to keep your steering wheel controls, too.

It would have to look worse than Courtney Love on a Sunday for me to give up the heated wheel

Your steering wheel is leather correct?? An apholstery shop will cut off the old leather and wrap it with new leather..

Buyers beware, local pick up recommended. Slow to ship out items already paid for.
