RPMs dropping lower then usual..

This started happening after I installed my cold air intake.. any help would be great.

May also want to grab some throttle body cleaner and give your TB a good cleaning. That fixed it for me.

If those two fail, than its probably your MAF

Hope cleaning it helps. My IACV went bad recently and fried the ECM at the same time! Tried cleaning it first and didn't work. Check this out: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...-stalling.html

Same thing happened to me. Cleaned the MAF and worked for a short time, but came back quickly. I swapped the MAF and has been great since. If you know someone that you can swap with briefly to see if that is it, it's cheaper than spending $400 for a new one.

ebay sells them cheaper i think. they're not OEM but i heard they work just as fine?

$400 for a new MAF for an 01 or a new IACV? Should be about $80-$90 from Dave B for a new MAF.
