Will man motor mounts fit auto cars.

My electronically controlled motor mounts in the GLE are shot. Do the motor mounts from the manual fit in my car?

yes they will, any manual motor mount from 95-03 will work. 5spd or 6spd. I woould recommend buying a set of manuals at a wrecker and buying the energy suspension motor mount inserts, press out the liquid filled garbage and press in the urethane. You will never need to replace them again.

no, I have helped 3 guys do this to an auto and there are no check engine lights. And no point in doing the side mounts, just do the front and back lowers. There is no pressure on the upper mounts, they rarely wear out.

knight_yyz help me and replaced my front and rear mounts and the smaller upper and lower bushings, my car is an 03 and had the electronic front one, and I have no engine codes from the swap out, The ES bushings have really helped with getting rid of wheel hop.

I see my trans mount has some play in it so why wouldn't filling it with urethane help?

the ES motor mount inserts only work for the front and rear mounts out of a manual, so yes you will need to buy manual motor mounts

The whole time I thought it was front and rear mounts, come to finds out it was my side mounts. Just had them replaced yesterday and now that nasty noise when going over bumps is gone and the car is way more stiff/stable

I'm still waiting for an answer. I can't do my front or rear mounts cause my support beam is permanently attached to the lower rad support, and the rubber is still centered in the mount, and was just gonna do the sides along with the NWP anti wheel hop new whatchamacallit thing they released...

Yeah you can still pull them out, but you will have to support the engine! For those ppl looking to do this mod since it wasn't mentioned! The A/T rear mount can be used to retrofit with the ES bushing, the A/T mm bore is too large, so all you really need guys is 1 front M/T motor mount from a 95-03 Maxima! Major improvement in launching...

I have electric mounts in great condition.I swapped them when i did my manual swap. I replaced the mounts about a year ago. PM me an offer. I have both for tranverse link. And no the mount will not throw a code if you do not use the electric mounts.

That sound like the engine is hitting the firewall/fender over bumps, it was a thumpy/rumbling sound. It progressively got to the point it was doing it over all kinda bumps. They inspected and showed my the front and rear mounts, no crack etc fine. The passenger side one was really cracked/worn and the drivers side was on its way out.

I remember you being one the 1st guys to realize that that horrible noise was coming from the side mounts(paticularly the front passenger 1) instead of the front and rear mounts. My mechanic said he has fixed several 02 and 03 Maxima's with owners thinking the front and rear are shot and it was the side mounts shot once he broke them down.

Yeah it sounds more like a bad strut or strut mount...more than anything else! But i'll glad someone else has experienced that gremlin....other orgers seemed more driven to prove me wrong than to really looking @ how much room we don't have in our engine bays...All it takes is a little bit of extra movement b4 your engine starts bumping this and that! Glad you found your problem, sometimes those simple things are right under our nose and easily overlooked...
