Im not sure if its microphone distortion or your car... it sounds kinda raspy or scratchy to me. How did you do this what exactly did you replace/modify?

A magnaglow resonator will take some of the rasp away, while still leaving a nice tone, I think. Otherwise it sounds nice.

No offense, Man... but ditto that. That does not sound like my Cattman. It mostly sounds good, but then something gets all strange like a bag of marbles.

However, I can count on one hand the number of times I've heard someone else rev my car.

Guys, no matter what we do to our cars, they will never sounds as sweet as a V8. It's just a fact of life.

when are people going to learn that if you want to post a video or sound clips of your exhaust, you don't place the mic 30 feet away!
Might want to invest in a BIGGER resonator or adding another one somewhere...
My headers have a leak somewhere, the tubing is thinner and mine isn't even as raspy as your setup even with the temporary gutted cat...

I don't think many of us want our car to sound like a V8. lol Now wanting them to sound like a 350z or G35c thats different but still will wont happen.

Come on now, you created a thread without questions or instructional purpose. You did it to show off...

...and that's OK. But if you're fishing for strokes, you have to take the good with the bad.

Which, coincidentally, is what you have with that exhaust: good and bad.

I think the lack of a resonator is hurting this one. Although, I usually love resless exhausts, this one isn't cutting it down low or at redline. Maybe that sound down low is vibration.
Other than that I think it's fine.

man, the first thing is to flame... its the same exhaust like i got and i only have like a ebay test pipe for my resonator... sounds good man, more engine noise than exhaust not loud IMO

That sounds nothing like a V8... rule of thumb bro, dont mention cattman's name on here

While revving under no load proves nothing of actual sound quality during driving...there seems to be some sort of metallic like rattle going on while you were revving! .......Like Cattman huh??? I've got I/H/E and my Cattman isn't that loud or raspy!

Good point. It's much more thrilling to hear your car on a WOT fly-by.

...which I've only heard 3 times ever, watching my mechanic wind her out.

Chill.. He called it a Cattman Knock-off because it looks pretty identical to cattman. No were in his thread did he say he thinks it sounds like cattman.
It sounds better at WOT. The video is taking away ALOT.
good job.

Sweet! Round 2 for Mu.

Love watching these drive by videos. (Too self-conscious to do one myself. Probably regret not having that video to look back on someday.)
