On start up car idles fine. However, In order for gears to switch properly once moving I have to accelerate slowly or else gears dont switch. Even when I am in park and accelerate the rpm stops at 2500. Can someone please help me figure out what is going on. The isnt throwing a code either. Also, when the car is floored a poping/cracking noise is heard.

 

car wont idle past 2500 = bad maf
new maf = 80-100 bucks

 

car does idle past that but only if you slowly press the accelerator.

 

Just an update...It was the MAS. The car has hella power now and no idle problems what so ever. Thanks for the help
