Caliper/Rotor question

I'm about to change my front brakes rotors/pads and possibly even the front calipers.

I say the calipers because I noticed that the inside of the rotors on both sides was grooved and was just curious if that is because of the calipers?

Not likely. A rock or something could have got between the pad and rotor? How bad are your pads? Did you go metal to metal?

'Inside' meaning towards the hub?

Have you removed the components to determine what exactly was scraping?

If not, don't waste your money on calipers for no reason.

highly doubt its caused by the caliper. check your pads n rotors first. and visually inspect the caliper piston. good luck dude

Do the 6th gen upgrade if you do decide to replace the calipers, I love my setup, big difference over stock.

Most likely just the pads from being worn down.
