No, only if you have the Meridian Edition I believe. Turn on the defroster and feel the mirrors to be sure. I think if you have a heated steering wheel, you have heated mirrors.

Correct... The Meridian package had heated seats, steering wheel, and mirror.

I have no heated seats or steering wheel. I thought that all cars these days come with heated mirrors... how lame and I thought I had a blow fusesomething

Yep. That was the Meridian Package. Also referred to as the "winter package".

The 2003 Titanium Edition was a Maxima SE that came with leather, sunroof and special paint. It often showed up fully loaded, which meant the Winter Package and Navigation.

It was very expensive... usually north of $33k, which was a big deal for a Nissan 7 years ago.

BTW - heated mirrors is more about marketing than practicality. Some might argue that point, but that's my opinion.

Same for powered seats... configure them once and never adjust. (Oh God, I'm going to have to duck for that one!)

How are they not practical?
Mine work great blasting off ice, and keep it off.

It's kind of like powered locks... nice, but much ado about nothing.

Yeah, I'm thinking I stepped in it with this one. OK... Heated Mirrors! Free the Whales! (Or whatever FTW stands for...)

You live in rochester, NY and don't care to have heated mirrors?

I've enrolled you into the psych ward. Don't mind those people with a straight jacket.

It dews virtually every night here, so heated mirrors are awesome.

Dew? We get lots of snow and rain, but I park in a garage, and it's rarely humid...

Oh. Right. Nevermind. :metalmax:

You must have dry snow. Big wet flakes like to stick on them.

I looked in the owners manual and my car has all the options listed as "if equipped" except the navi, 6 CD changer in the trunk (it has bose in-dash 6 CD changer), and TCS (but not possible since mine is 6MT) so does that mean that i have a Meridian Package?? i am not familiar with the packages that were offered. although i still have to wait until it gets cold to feel the heated steering wheel, i tried it a few days ago and did not feel anything, but it was like 90F outside (i know, i know its summer, i was just curious) same thing for the mirrors. i had them in my previous max ('94 SE 5MT) and they were awesome.

No.
They are tied to the rear defogger switch.

I would agree more about the seats than the mirrors. I used the heated mirrors all the time on my 00 SE in winter driving, much nicer than trying to scrape off that tiny section with an ice scraper.

On long trips I adjust my seats for comfort/different seating position and its nice to not have to jerk myself forward trying to move ahead an inch or 2.

Also, having memory seats is handy...if my girlfriend drove my car she could have her own seating position at the touch of a button...

Then again I didn't have to pay for any options on the showroom floor so its easy for me to bawk about them.

I certainly enjoyed the heated seats last winter. The heated mirrors are just a bonus. I take it that Rochester has neither. Ha Ha.

In Boston heated mirrors are a bonus. All the ice that sticks to them makes having the heated mirrors great. As far as the heated steering wheel I rarely ever us mine. Nice touch but I can live without.....
