? regarding Eibach's

I hear a noise, definitely from the wheel wells when I hit some bumps. Slow usually and much more pronounced on the left(dr) side than the right. Anybody experience this? I know their stiffer but I don't think I had this problem when I first got them. Thanks.

what does it sound like? Metal on metal? Do you have those rubber tube covers on the bottom coil of the spring where it sits on the strut?

I hear the same thing. I am not sure what it is, but i know there has to be a problem. I left those plastic things on, cause i thought they cut down on the noise. I have only had my eibachs for 1,000 miles so i don't think i have blown them.

if you are going to get struts, you may want to also consider KYB AGX... Cattman has them for the 5th gen now...

He's still trying to find someone to "test fit" them on their 5th gen.. I'm trying to convince myself I have the money, since he's willing to give them to me for cost AND pay for installation.

Too bad I'm broke!

Check the two big screws that hold the wheel in place behind the brake rotor, sometimes they loosen and all you have to do is tighten them. The AGX's are nice, but if you don't need them that bad, get Tokico non-adjustible.

I thought that the Tokico's didn't last as long as people wanted, and that's why they were going with AGX's or Koni's.
