ABS LIGHT ON?

I was re-mounting the horn behind the grill next to the small one. I plugged it in..the horn that i re-mounted doesn't work now and when i got in my car and started it the ABS light is on. Other than the horn, I adjusted my power cable for my subs because it was pissin me off. Does anyone know wtf this light is on and why my horn doesn't work either lol

If your ABS light is on it means one of the four ABS wheel sensors has tripped a code. When the light is on your ABS is disengaged so you're running on non-ABS brakes. They still work but you can lock them up...I know because it happened to me on my '01 and there was smoke everywhere when I tested them.

Unfortunately AutoZone can't read the ABS faults as they are not OBD codes. You'll have to go to an indie or to the dealer, someone who has the ABS code reader. Once you know which sensor is bad it's an easy DIY. I had to drill out the old ones (2 so far) that I've replaced as they have a very tight fit.

As far as your horn goes....no idea. That's for someone else to help with.

well im pretty sure one of the horn fuses is bad. sounded like something was loose in there. i guess the only way to find out about the ABS is as you said get it read. i just find it strange that the ABS came up the same time as my horn stopped working.

is there a way to open the actual fuse because i have no visual way of seeing if the fuse is shot.
