Looks very nice man, I like it a lot!
Were your backup lights the cheapest ones on V-LED's? I've been looking into doing this for a long time, can't wait to do it myself!

This looks amazing. GREAT job man. Quick question, where did you mount all of these LEDs to? Did you have to drill holes in the circuit boards? I'm assuming they didn't just sit where the old bulbs did...

-I'm assuming you're talking about the window switch LEDs? If yes, I actually didn't do anything to the circuit boards. In the back, there aren't any circuit boards... you just take the switch apart (being extremely careful to keep it upright, as there are 2 ball bearings and 2 copper pieces inside. (you don't want to lose any of those, and if they fall out, you have to figure out how to put them back together... just be careful and keep it upright. I soldered in a 5mm blue LED in each of the back switches with a resistor in exactly the same place as the stock green LED. For the front window switches, there is a circuit board that snaps in to the black casing with the switches. I dremeled "channels" in the side of the black casing so the wiring would fit in and simply put pre-wired LEDs (that I had made) over top of each of the stock green SMT LEDs on the circuit board. I used 5mm LEDs for all, and used a dremel to flatten the end of the LED so as to get even light distribution. Note: I was extremely careful to make sure I had electrical tape covering any bare wires on my prewired LEDs, cuz if you don't do that, and the bare wire touches the circuit board it'll fry it and you'll have to buy a new switch...

LED Problem PLease Help Anyone

Hey Coo LED's. I have a problem with some LED's in ma step courtesy lights. Even with my doors closed the LEd's still dim.. When they open obviously they light up. Do you think with trhe LED's dimmed while my doors is closed will drain out my Battery? Also is there anyway to have that taken care of? Please Help

-it's because sometimes the wires will have a small current running through them even when the LEDs are off. A regular incandescent bulb won't light up, but sometimes LEDs will. It shouldn't drain your battery.

One of my bulbs burned out on the right side of my manual climate control. I'm ordering (or trying to order) replacements for all 3 off of autolumination but I can't figure out what size base I need. They have a Type A (T3), Type B (T4), or a Type C (T5). I've measured as close as I can and as far as I can tell it uses the Type B.

PS Jowo, that is awesome looking!

I ended up buying the Type B base leds and they are the wrong size. The good thing is they still work fine though. As far as I can tell I should've bought the Type A size base.

Sorta random question, I was looking at your radio and it looks like the numbers for changing the presets (1 to 6) are lit up? Am I imagining that? Cause on my car, it doesn't light up like that =/

Yeah, they all light up. If you're talking about the numbers on the display (not the buttons), they're for the CD changer. Mine was full of CDs at the time so all 6 numbers lit up. If you're referring to the buttons, then yes, they are all supposed to light up.

This conversion is pretty incredible, I can't imagine the amount of work that had to have gone into it. I'm just getting started on red for my interior.

I'm going to have to do one of these threads soon, not too far away from being complete. I am impatiently waiting on my LED restock. I had to hold off on my mods to do a customers gauges

Hope I get to see this in person tomorrow
