How to install rear Stillen lip

Anyone install it themselves? I rather do it on my own. So is it simply running double sided tape around the sides and rear and then screw in where the mud flaps used to be? What kind of double sided tape should I use for reliability?

Thanks,

Yup your correct. I'm just had my stillen kit painted this weekend myself and I'll be doing the install too. Your gonna wanna make sure there is no wax or any kind of buildup of anything around the area you'll be putting the tape on so clean it good before hand and have a friend make sure you line it up right. Double sided tape and two screws in the wheel wells and if you have mud flaps you'll have to take those off as well... And from what I've read the 3m tape from nappa or any autoparts store has been the norm. I'll be doing this too this week so if you get a piece of advice that works lemme know.

Thanks guy's I figured it seemed very easy, so point in wasting money to have a shop do it. Whats the best way of cleaning the paints to ensure was is gone without damaging the paint itself?

I'd rather be on the safe side especially since mine is an ABS knock off.

3m for sure. Clean it well. As far as the mud flaps you'd have to custom cut them to sink up properly. I had the stillen rear lip also molded in...no 3m was needed...I sold the rear to nismo, he has it down here in the fort lauderdale area...

Not putting the mudflaps on. Car will look foolishwithout the sides but I'm getting the Custom Maxima Evo2knock off installed, so I'd rather have the lip on there since the exhaust looks very agressive.
