Clarion or Pioneer
This post should probably be in the audio section... but IMHO, I would not buy Clarion - Clarion makes Nissan's factory decks, and having worked for Nissan dealers, they do not really make a quality product, nor do they stand behind it as they should.
I'd go with Pioneer. Ultimately, I'd go with Alpine, but since you have two choices, I'd say avoid Clarion, go with Pioneer.

+1 for eclipse, avoid alpine at all costs because unless you drop big money on there stuff and have it professionally installed they will jerk you around about warranty problems. Eclipse is the exact opposite ive have nothing but respect for the people their and how they handle their customers.
to answer the OP though i say Pioneer. Ive never used Clarion myself but know some people that have and they only ever bought 1 thing...and then never again\

I don't see the fN-800bt, but I do see a fH-800bt, so I'll assume that is a typo.
I'm only showing a $60 price difference on http://www.sonicelectronix.com, and it's actually less than that because the Pioneer has free shipping vs almost $20 for the Clarion.
The Pioneer looks cleaner, but also has a lack of buttons. Makes me wonder how you actually control the unit. Probably some sort of push and scroll function using that center ****. It also doesn't have a front aux port - if that matters.
I guess I would say that I'm actually a fan of having more buttons. I don't want to get distracted by searching for a button or navigating through a menu. I'd much rather reach over and know that everything is right there. But, it does make for a much more cluttered stereo.
I'm probably one of the few that likes the stock non-Bose unit. I like individual volume, tuning, and seek buttons. Probably why I haven't bothered to replace the stock unit yet!
Of course, both have a remote, so that may be a moot point.
Looks like the Pioneer has a 2 year warranty vs 1 year for the Clarion.
Clarion has the front aux port, and adjustable display lights (for those that like to have all the colors match!).
Pioneer with get you the name and that cool "Premier" labeling. Might be better quality too
Here's the 2 you mentioned:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...FH-P800BT.html#
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ion+CX609.html#
I'll also throw out a Kenwood that I was looking at - double-din, front aux & usb, mp3/wma/etc, and it's in the same price range:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-DPX-503-.html
Anybody have any input on the Kenwood?
