Plug n Play HID Issue

I just received a set of Plug and Play HID's 9003 bulbs from "Umnitza" off of this forum for my 2001 Maxima. I plugged them in fine, but the bulbs only come on when I switch on the high beams. They do not work when the lows are on. Do I need to get the bixenon kit so that they work for both? All I really want is the lows.

Sorry if this is redundant, but I couldn't find anything via 'Search'.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You shouldn't have to get the bi-xenon kit, they should work right off the bat when you switch the low beams. Contact Umnitza.

Reverse the polarity. Unplug the connect on the ballast, and turn them around. + of ballast to - of harness.

So the three prong harness from the car plugs into the ballast a different way? I could of sworn it only fits in one direction...?

The plug that you plugged into the ballast.....Disconnect it and reverse it and then connect it. I made the same mistake installing them the first time. They will work! Try this!

OK. But where I'm confused is. The plug that comes from the car and plugs into the ballast? Thats the one I need to reverse?

Its the only plug that gets connected to the ballast itself. It comes from the bulb.

Gotcha. Thats all I needed clarification on. I'll try this tonight. I was thinking it was the harnesses that connect the ballast to the car's headlight harness. But I got it now. I'll post up to verify everything's ok.

I really like the matched look with the headlights. 6000k or 8000k in the fogs is nice.
