Noise under hood while turning?

Ok....so I previously had an issue with my A/C making a weird screechy noise that disappeared with the change in temperature where i live.

I also i discovered that i had a crack in my radiator (noticed a slightly raised operating temp during cooler weather and the smell of coolant for 2 weeks with no leak...)....got the radiator replaced as well as my accessory belts.

Now, i have another problem that took a backseat to the major ones...when i am making a semi-fast, sharp turn to the right when getting on the interstate, i am hearing a quickfire thud like noise...

The only way i have found to replicate the sound is to roll your tongue when saying spanish words that begin with the letter "R".... or the sound can be described as like a "card in bicycle spokes" (ah, childhood memories ) only the sound is a bit deeper.

It makes that noise until i come out of the turn and go straight. The force of the curve is moving something around. I had this problem before and after the belt change... I checked my steering fluid and it is exactly where it should be. Anyone have any issues with the fan under the hood? ....What cha think?

Thanks!

you could start by checking your axle i used to get the noise when mine went. Put the front end of your car on jack stands and look around, see if anything is out of place or loose.

yeah that def sounds like the axle. you could probly get it done for about 200-300 with labor.

***Update***

I discovered two things since my last post. I had to get on a sharp curve to get on the interstate this weekend and noticed that when my foot is off the pedal, the noise i described above stops. When i put my foot back on (still driving the curve) the noise starts back up.

This morning, before leaving, i recorded the sounds under my hood right after starting up my car. The sound is still there only fainter. It gets louder and changes to the sound i described above when driving. There is also a higher pitched sound coming from under my hood as well.

http://www.mediafire.com/?c1cw5nzxmww

Please listen to the sound and tell me what you think...it's 1:24 mins. At the beginning, you can hear the first noise and at about 00:09 you start to hear the second sound. I move the recorder to all over to try to get as much of the sounds as possible.

Thank you all for listening and providing me with your input....

Likley to be the wheel bearing. Lift the car up and see if you can freely turn the wheel by hand.

wheel bearing or maybe an axle
best way would be to lift up the front end pop out the axles and take a look at hub and bearing that way. It could be that both are bad

Ahh ok i thought that the sound was coming from the engine, i miss read the thread, any idea as to were the sound is coming from? sounds like maybe a bad valve?
This maybe a long shot but any problems starting the car? Maybe the starter isn't retracting all the way back

Well the area your pointing to you have two things there the alternator and the ac compressor. If you have a piece of tubing at home you can use that as a stethoscope just place it on the alternator or ac compressor and see if the noise is coming from either one , it could be the clutch on the compressor not disengaging. Try turning the ac on and off see if the noise gets louder or quiter.

Another thing that it might be would also be the belt tensioner pulley, try taking your belt off and turning the tensioner pulley by hand see if you get the sound from it
