Ok I have 03 Auto. the car runs good up to date with all tuneups and all just never did a tranny tuneup because brought the car with 120k and the oil looking kind of dark but doesn't smell burnt or anything , the thing is the car take a while to shift gears when I really floor it or on the highway I'm getting smoked by all these 3.0 the tranny has no slipping or shifting hard its very smooth just that problem , what can be or what should I do ? No cel light. Should I just take the chance and service the tranny ?.

 

I think you should probably change the gear oil since its getting dark.

 

service the tranny, the manual tranny is not the same as the AT, so go ahead and do it... As for the comment about the 3.0, well I'm biased on that.... LOL
