Light indicator on dash...

I have a 02 max and I guess the rear brake light is gone bad because the indicator on the dash is lit. Every time I apply the brake it goes out and also when I got out to take a look (when the lights were on) I noticed the lights on the spoiler were illuminated. I thought that was to only work when the brakes were applied. What do I need to check to make that light go away?

check your brake fluid level as well, or you have a burned out brake light

I'd say check all your bulbs, if there's any loose filaments it could make the light come on/off. Also, if the spoiler lights are on when the brakes aren't applied, check for some kind of short. As far as I know, they should only illuminate when power is applied from the brake circuit. I know when I was bored and put LED bulbs in for my taillights, I had the little brake bulb warning light come on everytime I hit the brakes or had the parking lights on, if I remember correctly.

brake light switch behind brake pedal might be out of adjustment.

well it went away on its own plus the spoiler brake light only illuminates when pedal is depressed. It was our first cold night in the midwest so it may had a effect on it.
