ok i have 6 check engine light codes and i need to know witch one to fix so i can get my car running again.

the car turns but does not stay on. it kind of back fires while its trying to crank.

these are the codes i got

P0110
P0141
P0155
P0443
P0505
P1131

P.S i have a 3.5 swap so im sure some of them are from that. Oh and its a 2001 the one in my avi.

 

ouch! did the codes popped up recently or right after the swap?

 

I was reading obd-codes.com and the first 3 codes are sort of o2 related, so maybe possibly try and change out the o2s. And the p0443 could be your EVAP solenoid malfunctioning which the site gives you some tips on the potential solutions. They have some good infos there.

would any of these codes make my car not turn on or could it be something else???

 

P0110-intake air temp sensor
P0141-downstream 02 sensor heater or circuit fault
P0155-upstream O2 sensor heater or circuit tault(left bank)
P0443-EVAP canister purge control valve circuit fault
P0505-idle air control valve fault...aka IACV sensor
P1131-cannot find code result....but P0131 is upstreamoxygen soensor lean shift monitor fault(right bank)


did the car start after the swap...or has it not started yet? it looks to me like the ECU would be soooooo confused as to what's going on that it would just go into safe mode.

 

i have had the swap for 5 months now and it has been running fine.

I drove to work last friday and when i go to leave the car wont start wtf!

 

I have codes too... how to i get help with those? sorry I'm a new chick to this whole forum thing...
