the old Maxtunning lip, you have to find them used though. Other then that, thats about it.

Maxtunning lip looks like the 00-01 stillen lip

^^That front lip wont fit cause the 00-01 and 02-03 bumper are slighty different in shape iirc

the side skirts are def different them what comes on your 02...

that being said.. the ABS one you showed is garbage material wise compared to stillen.. the ones you showed are abs plastic.. stillen is made from flexible urathane ... 100% different material in terms of fitment,.. paint application.. longevity,..paint life.. chipping..cracking... ect ect..

that being said.. stillen is the superior product...

What made the Maxima your project car? Did you sell the S2000, or get out from under the Accord?

I'm envious of Nevada plate laws. Hate having a front plate.

Roy, is that a Progress sticker on the top of your lip? Stillen? Just when you thought you had run out of places for stickers!

Once again, your ride is insanely clean.

NWP.
And trust me, I only have about 4 to 5 stickers on my car. I thought hiding it there was quite clever actually.

Not so clever we didn't spot it! That's funny, man.

Stickers are only lame on cars that are lame. That's certainly not you, so it's all good.

Maxxtuning lips come around every once in a while. Someone was selling one about two months ago. Just wait if you want one bad enough. I am not a big fan of the billet look, but to each his own. You should consider the Stillen sides as they graciously compliment the rest of the kit. I plan on getting them this Spring.

FYI, Stillen or not, both poly urthane and plastic lips will crack and shatter when hit on the highway by a truck tire but I still prefer stillen.

and if you want a Maxxtuning lip, you need to have patience till one pops up

There is also coverting from 02-03 front bumper to 00-01...there are probably a couple of people who would love to do it as a swap.

Personally 02-03 headlights with the 00-01 bumper is a cleaner look

Rochester,

we moved way closer to work.. and things have been working great for us.. wifey's work is only 7 miles from the house now and i'm about 12...So she wanted the accord back and not only that, i have to drive now since its so close...

SO... the s2000 is done...well has been done.. and since i've gotten my maxima back, i wanted to do a few things i've always wanted to do... Finances permits and so does the boss *wifey* hahaha...

Well just looking at Joels car, i'm definately going with Stillen. i have a majestic so now i can get an idea of what mine would look like

So the S2000 is purely a toy now, you're driving the Maxima instead of your wife, and you're keeping the Accord at lease-end... that sounds pretty comfortable. I'm glad it's all working out for you.

Modding the Maxima will surely keep you entertained for a long time. Enjoy!

maxxtuning just stopped making them thats all. couple years back.

thats why I said patience but I guess you don't have any. It takes time to mod and build and put together, just don't spend everything you got, cause afterall its just a car in the end that will end up in the junk yard someday

I have the patience but if they havent made them for a couple years, i'll go with the next best thing which to me would be the stillen. and going for a used one, it may not be in the codition i would like.

the money i got to spend is toy money.. exactly what its for...i understand its the journey, not the destination. believe me.. Having a turbo s2000, believe me its never ending. I'm enjoying my journey

this is my 2nd 2002 maxima and i've never had the chance to do what i wanted to do with that one.. got a 2nd a chance.. gonna do it...

this car is just so damn..............suuuhhweeeeet! lol

Sportcompactonly.com used to make a replica of the MaxxTuning lip. A company on ebay had about 5 of these for sale a few months back. I guess you could keep checking ebay to see if they pop up again. If I recall they were going for $375 or something crazy.

hey guys look what I found!!! Ta da! Maxxtuning FRONT LIP for $260

http://sportcompactonly.com/Nissan/M...905_vt-914.htm

BTW, i think the stillen front lip is EXTREMELY durable. My front lip fell off the car on the highway and I ran over it. I pulled up on the shoulder and picked it up and it was just a BIT bend, but the bodyshop basically repainted it and it was perfect again.

damn I didnt refresh the page to see your response

Also, IMO, maxxtuning lip only looks good on darker colored cars and the stillen lip only looks good on lighter colored cars. Ive seen on maxtuning on sheer silver, white and beige...does not look good to me.

I kinda think this would look good with a CF splitter, stillin sides and rear, or the sorona rear like staticxout2 with the sidemarker instead of the pointless air vent, pfff
