What's everyone doing for CAT replacement

So I've had this check engine light on for the past year and need a new cat but don't want to drop the cash on an OEM one.

Does anyone have any insight on replacement cats for our cars? I forget the one that I need but think that it's bank 1 cat 2. I could be wrong. I'll get the code again today and update you guys.

Test pipe like everyone else
If you're paranoid, just gut it or get a cheap aftermarket. Some people don't even have to sim the 02s when gutted. 02 sim is such an easy install anyway.

Which cat...?

Unless you've got some crazy, true-dual exhaust going on with that little transverse engine, are you sure about what you're asking?

BTW, your sig photo is gorgeous. It's also an insanely huge resolution for this forum, but the car is hot in that photo.

I was thinking that, too. Looks good on the 5.0 bumper. Maybe because he has that lip, and the car is black. Usually I hate that ricer crap, but I have to say it works well here.

Thanks for all the compliments on the car. It's a Street Scene lower grille. I don't really like the ricer stuff either but the lower seems to work well with my theme. The Stillen Front lip is painted using Duplicolor's Bumper paint for that plastic look. Having it glossy was just too high maintenance. Having to get the lower painted every 6 months is just not worth it.

Pic was taken on Highway 1 in Northern California, south of San Francisco.

I think my code is a P0430 but I'll go and check right now. Also thanks for the heads up on the high flow cat. I've got a totally stock exhaust. Took off my HKS rear section and went back to stock to get a super quiet ride. I've been out of the Nissan scene for several years due to another car, but the Max is still my daily driver.
