i've got some neon light sticks i wanna put in the drivers and passenger's side footwells. i plan on tapping them into the wires for the lights on the doors but i don't know which wires are the 12v and ground. anyone done this before? any word on identifying the right wires??

don't know for sure, but you they might be in the audio and electronics forum. check under the "important" thread and download the vehicle wiring for your year.

Or, if that doesn't work ... you could always get a multimeter and check.

Pretty easy ... or just take out the driver's door switch in the jam and look what colors are there ... hum ... sounds easy to me.

 

well, i did that much. but the wires run into some type of junction box. from there i'm lost.
