Will a stock navi fit a non navi from factory max??

Here's the deal guys. Just got my hands on a 02-03 in dash stock nissan navigation. as well as tape deck. My car is non navi from factory, would to navi plug and play with my non navi maxima? If not how hard would it be to make it work? I just got one for resell but I wanna see if it does plug right up because I need some kinda climate control for rainy days etc...
Thanks.

Did you search at all? Simple search would show you that the wiring would hardly be worth it. Waaaaaay too much work. Don't bother.

Edit: Drunkie beat me to it.

I did attempt to search and that's the truth. However I remember the post about the person who didn't have a navi and wanted stock one asking how hard it was. I couldn't figure out the name of the op and couldn't find the thread. Alot of links on here were dead, maybe I just searched the wrong tittle. apologize for that, I almost always search. Thanks for the quick reply.

I installed navigation in my I35. Same principal, just a different setup for the screen. You can probably answer a lot of your questions from my thread, but for the post part its trial and error. There's also some wire diagrams that may be useful. Its definately not a plug/play type install. There is a harness you could get from the dealer that would effectively make it plug and play, but they're $280.

Navigation Install

You're welcome to email me, too, if you have any questions. Im at a computer all day at work so it wouldn't bother me. Zach@gadson.com

Wait, would you say $280 for the harness is worth it? And how satisfied are you with the oem navigation? I think I want to put the oem in just because I like how it pops up out of the dash. And would the harness make things considerably easier with all features?

I did not buy the harness, although it would have saved my steering wheel controls for the stereo (I think). In my opinion, the harness is not worth the extra almost $300 when you can so some cut/splice action yourself for free.

As far as the nav system itself is concerned, I am OK with it. I'm not thrilled, but it does get me from A to B (although sometimes in a very roundabout way). I live in Atlanta, and the newest map disc available (for any region) is from 2005, and not too much has changed here since then, so for the most part my maps are all up to date.

If you live in a newer city, you may not want to waste your time and energy installing the OEM system.
