Odometer light

My odometer light went out. I cannot find a bulb spec at the autoparts store, online, on in my ESM. I called the dealer, but they weren't sure either. I'm tempted to just take the cluster apart to see for myself, but thought I'd ask first to see if anybody knew....

I believe they're 194 bulbs but I could be wrong. Did you search on here?

Yep. I searched for "odometer lights," "instrument panel," "gauge cluster," and couple other things.

I searched "gauge bulbs" and found this in the 1st post of the 1st thread I found:

the gauge bulbs were #194/168
Here's the thread:

Your obviously not reading his post correctly. Direct quote from the 1st sentence from the 1st post of the 1st thread that I found:

Well, I took my guage cluster apart today on my 2000 SE

*cough*

10th sentence-
"At least my '95 wasn't all that bad to replace the bulbs, the gauge bulbs were #194/168 which are very inexpensive"

7th and onward sentence, about the 2000-
"The bulb comes as a whole assembly (bulb with its own connector to twist into the cluster). I think Nissan knew what they were doing in making it difficult to buy parts aftermarket, because you can't find these bulbs anywhere on the market. They are an odd size and actually, what IS the model number? On the bulb it says "A14V" and on the connector it says "V-2"."

Chris, thanks for trying to help, man. You are right that he is referring to a 2000 SE in the first sentence. However, if you keep reading, he says this,
At least my '95 wasn't all that bad to replace the bulbs, the gauge bulbs were #194/168 which are very inexpensive.
Anyway, we're way off topic here. Does anyone know what size bulb needs to be purchased to replace the odometer light in a 2001 Maxima SE?

I think this is what I need. My local dealership does not stock them, but maybe I can find something next week. Thanks, Steve.

Bulb #24 very rare, you might be able to fit a #74 also.

When he says that he has to be refering to a previous car. Why would he start a thread in the 5th gen section and talk about his '00 SE, buy then refer to a '95? Gotta be an old car.
