Need help: What is this part?

I cam across a a heavily corroded metal tube that looks like it might fail soon, but I have no idea what it is for, or if it is replaceable and a part number.

The metal tube runs parallel to the passenger side of the oil pan, and has a rubber hoses clamped on both ends. See pic attached below.

Assistance identifying the part, part number, and advice on if it can be replaced relatively easy would be appreciated.

Its called the water pipe assy. Check out courtesyparts.com, they have the picture, part of the part # is 21302M.

correct... its to your oil cooler. you must live in a salty area?

Yes, I live in New England. Oil Pan is rusted heavily as well.

It might be a good time to spray anything that is corroding on the underside of the car with a product like LPS 3 or engine inhibiting/storage spray or equivalent. As well, spray any nuts/bolts/attach hardware that might have to be loosened/removed in the future. Back "east", once a year might be a good idea.
