I run g37s 19'' rims and no rubbing. How low did you lower? I don't think it will rub...

That's kinda chunky, I would go with a 35 series tire with that same width imo.

Go with a 35 profile with 19s. How wide are they and whats the offset? 245 should be ok for the back but if the offset is too low it'll probably rub up front.

sneaky bastard.......

Correct I believe they are. the tires are potenza re0505a 245/40/19 they only have 500 miles on them

So swapping them out would be to a hassle.

If you want, we can test fit these wheels on my car first to see if they fit.

If it clears the BBK it will because of the spoke design. But It'll be close. Wheels with that offset usually dont clear BBKs.

a 35 to a 45 profile is a pretty big difference. But there are other variables also. I ran a 245/45/18 on my old setup and it rubbed like crazy in the front. But i believe thats because my wheels were only 7.5" wide so it made the tires bulge out some.

General rule of thumb I like to stick to with tires if your not running a strech on a 4th or 5th gen max is:

17" rim - 45 profile
18" rim - 40 profile
19" rim - 35 profile

This will usually keep your speedo accurate. On a 20" though, I still like to keep a 35 profile because it keeps some cushion between the wheel and the road.

But since the tires are brand new, forget everything I said and ride out with them. lol

They were on an m45 with lowered suspension. SOOOOO yea I hope they dont rub. Yea test fitting them on your whip will be amazing!!!! you are the man!!! Im also going to bring a caliper and z32 brake with me to lay on the inside of the wheel.
