Fuel Pump Assembly from 03 works on a 00?
Will the fuel pump assembly (including sending unit) from a 3.5L v6 (2003) work on a 2000-2001?
I ask because I broke a tab on my 00 by accident and need one badly ... the only ones I could find are for the 03.

I only know that the fuel filter strainers have different parts number 00-01 are different part number for 02-03 some how I think you may find the same issue for the fuel pump system, But I can't say for sure

and it is showing 00-01 for the sending unit so it is making me believe that you have to stay within the correct year range of 00-01

I just replaced a pump in a 03 3.5L and they gave the dude originally one out of an 2000 max (supposedly) but the 2000 max pump had a feed and return. The 3.5L is returnless so it only had 1 nipple on it.
