-yesterday i walked back to my parked car to find three guys totally checking it out. My car is still mostly stock but I get it all the time here in Santa Barbara. Do you guys get this too?

It gives me a good feeling to know that we drive the best car for the money we pay. Max's have speed, power, nice styling, and the comfort of a sedan.

I used to get it all the time when i first got it b/c no one had seen it before. Now it's only occasionally but people do still ask about it. Yesterday as a matter of fact when I was leaving work getting in the car and some guy say's "you're the one with this hot car", he said he see's it there everyday and has been wanting to talk to me b/c he wants to get one. He thought they were too expensive (looking at the sticker on a GLE I would too) but I set him straight.

there are 2 types of people who check out cars, there's the type who CHECK Out Cars and theres the type that CHECK out cars. I keep an eye out for the 2nd type. I never get too close to somones car to see what they have inside, and when I see finger prints on my windows that sometimes pisses me off b/c they were too close.

I have a 97 Black SE fully loaded, I always get the "You have the nicest car in school" from alot of people. And sometimes catch the "He better be picking me up tommorow" conversations from the ladies at work

Cant wait for my 5th gen!

don't you just wish you can have the alarm system like the BMW 750 driven by James Bond in *Tomorrow never dies* ?

It gives out electric shocks to whoever touches it....

That's a funny thing, about the alarm shocking anyone who touches the car...The Supra list had a long discussion about it.

Basically went like this.
Find a relay to have the battery hooked to the door handles and whenever the alarm is activated, anyone trying to lift the door handle would get a good shock. It was even mentioned to have the entire car being hooked up (wouldn't work with the engine grounds though)...but, someone mentioned about that one little kid who bounces the ball under your car and tries to climb under gets electrocuted.

i still want to do the door handles. =)

did you know in africa

as a new theft deterant to thefts just walking up to the cars and getting inside and robbing them of either there car or there money, they have decided to actually put mini flame throwers under the car so wen someoen walks up to the car trying to rob them, a flame comes out of either the passenger side or the drivers side doors. I saw it on some car news thingy. I was like Damn. Becuase there is so much car theft there I guess thats the next best thing. :

Not if you have metal pieces on the inner part.

even better that means the electricity won't go towards newhere else u don't want it of the car. put two prongs on there, wire up that stunn gun to your alarm and hhehehe.. oh but then doesn't it suck if you opened your car and got shocked yourself?? yeh i don't like it when ppl start rubbing up against my lady..
