Those of u that have lowered your Maxes
...have you noticed any untowards/negative steering behavior from the lowering, specifically, increased/decreased torque steer and noticeably harsher ride?
The subtly harsher ride I would expect but I'm concerned that the changes in suspension 'static' geometry resulting from the lowering -front camber, for instance- could make the torque steer and bump steer much worse than stock
feedback wanted, thks

Re: Those of u that have lowered your Maxes
Of course the harder ride cause the spring rate is different. The torque steer seems about the same to me. I notice that if i hit it on a turn i don't peel out as much cause my car doesn't rock or wallow as much as it used to. The only thing i notice is a clunk coming from my front right side whenever i turn the wheel all the way to the right and then straight again. Otherwise i love the Eibachs!!
Most people have said that eibachs, h&rs etc don't lower enough to screw up the geometry. I certainly don't see tons of negative camber. Torque steer also seems pretty much the same. The increase in looks and handling is definitely worth it to me.
unless you go with GC coilovers or any other coilovers for that sort..lowering springs for Maximas don't lower our cars enough to even worry about the camber problems..if you're really worried about it your camber, then you can always buy either Stillen or Cattman camber plates.
yeah i have the eibach's and the only thing that i really notice is when i turn my wheels all the way, other than that im happy
, as for the torque situation it feels to me like i go faster than i did before but maybe thats just me

I have the progress springs, and I don't notice any camber problems. I have yet to have an alignment (want to let the springs settle) and I don't notice any difference in torque steer. I do notice that the car "tracks" more on uneven roads, but that is due to my larger rims/tires that I installed at the same time. So far, no clunks or anything. Maybe I'm lucky (or it just hasn't happened yet)
Anywho ... if you are that worried about the camber, get camber plates as someone else suggested. Eibach's makes them, and stillen and cattman carry them in some shape or form.

Your springs aren't properly installed if it clunks when you turn to the right!
